UAZ recalls 149,579 cars in Russia on wiring, brake problems

MOSCOW, Jul 14 (PRIME) -- Russian carmaker UAZ is recalling 149,579 cars of Patriot, Pickup and Cargo models sold from March 2014 through July 2017 due to possible problems with brakes, wiring and oxygen detectors, the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology said in a statement on Friday.

UAZ will get in touch with owners of the cars that fall under the recall, and all maintenance will be free, the service said.
